About netball

THE AIM OF THE GAME

The winning formula for netball is simple - good team-work and the ability to score more goals than the opposition!

Each team has seven players and each member of the team has their own job to do on the netball court

Defensive: Goal Keeper and Goal Defence
Centre Court: Wing Attack, Wing Defence and Centre
Attacking: Goal Attack and Goal Shooter - the only two players allowed to score goals.

Each position has certain zones on the court where they are able to play.

Don't panic - the rules are not as complicated as you think! We can help you pick up the rules and we won't expect you to know all of them straight away.
